Indigenous
Indigenous Knowledge. Digital Futures. One Alliance.
iDIA is a visionary nonprofit grounded in the ancestral knowledge of the Ipai Yuman peoples. We bring together elders, youth, and allies to protect culture, restore relationships to land, and advance Indigenous digital sovereignty across generations and homelands.
Four Pillars Supporting Our Community
Our programs are rooted in the four foundational pillars of the Ipai Digital Intelligence Alliance, each one honoring ancestral wisdom while building the systems, skills, and sovereignty our communities need to thrive.
Cultural Continuity & Healing
Revitalizing language, ceremony, storytelling, and traditional arts for present and future generations.
Ecological Intelligence
Restoring relationships with land and water through Traditional Ecological Knowledge (TEK) and land stewardship.
Digital Sovereignty & Innovation
Advancing Indigenous-led digital governance and the responsible use of emerging technologies to protect what is sacred and strengthen future generations.
Intergenerational Education
Creating youth-to-elder leadership pathways rooted in mentorship, cultural continuity, and heart-centered learning.
Our Story
How iDIA Came to Be
There is no single school that teaches how to carry culture forward. So we are building one together. Long before the language of algorithms and artificial intelligence, our ancestors carried knowledge through story, land, and ceremony. Today, Indigenous communities face language loss, ecological disruption, and digital exploitation.
iDIA was born from a simple question: How do we protect ancestral knowledge while preparing Indigenous youth to lead in a digital world?
"Knowledge moves in a circle — not as an ending, but as renewal."Rooted in the ancestral teachings of the Ipai Yuman peoples, iDIA cultivates ideas not only to create change today, but to carry wisdom forward through generations to come. We are building that bridge.
